Tour

Leave tomorrow after work for some weekend larger Canadian cities, shows and antics.

It will be Windom only; someone from HSR couldn't make it.

Once a major downer, now not so much.

More happily I just found out that I will be doing much more major city hopping in the coming months as part of an entertainment law mentorship.

city city city. me me me. planes planes back and forth.

But for now, my ipod is full of bow wow wow and every Kathleen Hanna project. My Henry Rollins Book is packed. An escape from what lately has felt like a monotonous daily boredom trap of my life. Jobs life and the blah blahs of the whole blah.

...

I couldn't find a mini body wash at the drugstore, so Johnny said that it's rock and roll to use just shampoo instead.

I will use shampoo to clean my body for the next 5 days.

TRES BIZARRE! F**King punk rock.

High Fives are an important part of life.

High fives are an important part of life. And never have I seen such a compelling example of high five, in media res, captured on film.
This picture is from a few months ago: Windom, post-ECMA opening gala/fashion show. The producer is giving us congratulatory high fives.
Let's move from left to right with a play by play of this split second momemt in time:
Matt: I am beguiled yet satisfied by this use of non-irony.
Nicole: DORK! FUNNY!
Me: Total respect. I'm feeling profoud admiration for this sincere high five: such authenticity---what fervor!!!!! * Totally crushing*
Stephan: I'm scared.
Brad: YES! PARTY!
Last night Windom practiced a video set. Windom and Hotshot are playing at a rave at the end of May. I have NO idea how this happned. But it will be incredible. Ravers don't have weapons, do they? They're more loving, aren't they?

What the hell/notgun and naybird

Oh, hi.

It's been awhile. Fancy bumping into you here.

The fact is, nothing really compelled me to post in quite long time. Life is good. Not that it's any of your business. I'm looking for a different appartment. Shacking up. Holy shizznit everyone's shacking up these days. It's, like, the NEW thing. We'll see.

Fudgey's good. And growing. He got a perfect report card at the vet's and scored "ideal". He really is shaping up to be just like his mommy. Well, except for the whole testicle part. Poor Fudgey loses his manhood on Wednesday.

A couple weeks ago, Windom Earle made a trip to Sackville, NB. We had a great time playing the last class bash at George's. Afterwards, we partied hard at the Borden hotel. In between these two things, I was in full force, ready to take some punches after some major douchebaggery from a soundguy towards a darling friend. Instead I spewed several Pavement related insults. This soundguy plays in a band that I don't like. They're pretty snoozy if ever there was one. This made the insults more fun. You just had to be there, I guess. I can bepretty evil like that, especially when such douchebaggery is so ludicrous and against friends who are so kind and respectful. But other than my mouth, everything was pretty zen.

Last week, under Amy's careful consultation I got some subtle yet interesting tracks. For once in my life, my hair is "alternative" enough to merit dirty looks from boring strangers. Thank you Amy!

Other events worth mentioning include Feast of Beardo which, for the first time in several months, reminded me of the good times that can be had in Halifax with good people.

Important acessories to my current life:

-Grill cheese sandwiches (xtra hot sauce)
-Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman dvd series
- TV on the Radio
-midi interfaces

Ok. You can go away now. I'll be back in like 2 months, maybe.

FashionEASTa/ That's not very CRASS of you.

Could this be any better: Fashion show? Me IN the Fashion Show?Custom outfit? Free salon visit? Playing music on an elaborate "industrial" stage? BIG MONEY??

omg. I wish every show could be like this.

I knew all the hours of ANTM watching would not go to waste. Ms. J has taught me a thing or two or four!!

I'm playing with Windom Earle at FashionEASTa to kick off the ECMAs. That Saturday night HSR has a MNS showcase. We were also invited to play a nocase with Scribbler that same night but had to turn it down-- which is really too bad because I love those guys. Craig and I had a plan to collaborate on some 50s style love songs. I hope we still do that.

It's all pretty cool.

But I can't wait to leave this city.
I can never decide. An ex-boyfriend once told me: you're a dichotomy. I was 19 and I was, like yeah whatever, let's go make out at the dome.
I'm such a crass-listening diamond-wearing bastard.
I'm such an anarchist vogue-reader.
I want it all. Everything. All of it.
