WARM WELCOME/ WITH A STAB IN THE BACK!

So much. Great fucking weekend.

Despite a few issues of divisiveness and ego, Friday’s show was great. Considerable turnout. A/V killed and much dancing was had. Philip dug our cover of Explode Upon Impact; I’m glad because he rules. Lots of dear friends couldn’t make it at the last minute, but Amy reigned supreme as my #1 party partner in crime, and what a long party-night we had. I’m proud (or maybe ashamed, I’m not sure), to say that I have watched virtually every Midnight Oil music video ever made- in all their Australian nationalistic, hyper-environmentally conscious glory.

So much fun was to be had, that there wasn’t much need for sleep.

Had supper with my Dad. I’m now law-girl-for-reals. I got a job as an Admin Legal assistant. Everyone is very relieved that I’m doing something productive (myself) etcetera. I wish you were working there too, CMAN- come visit with some pepsi xox.

Sat night- Haley called me down to the One World to watch her play with Juan Love. I’m very glad she did. They are my new favorite localish band- I can’t wait to get my hands on their new recording. HUGE fan.

After, I hung out with Savannah and we headed to Gus’ (Congrats, Radiator Collective) which involved a cathartic rock/dance-out to Excalibar. I’m going to miss her and Dave so much. They are among the very few people whom I tell absolutely everything to- and if you’re thinking, ‘I wonder if they even know about…’YES they do-- everything- but I have promised to keep them informed via steamy letters when they are in the woods.

Team walkhome hit a few parties on the long north–to-central-to-south way home. Topics of convo ranged from sexual catharsis to plot inconsistencies in Disney’s Lady and Tramp. I decided to paint my kitchen lime green and get a kitten. We'll see.

I want a kitten too. Once out of debt maybe I will acquire a fuzzball friend.

cats can sometimes be screwed up. at least mine can. maybe cats adapt to the personalities of their owners.
